Wimbledon Village

The very picturesque and expensive end of Wimbledon, situated between the town and Wimbledon Common and centered around the shops, restaurants and pubs around the village high street. Well heeled families occupy large period houses on leafy streets running up to the Common.

The village itself is okay, but better is it's position on the edge of Wimbledon Common which is great for walking and biking, Cannizaro Park with it's exquisite and often rare plants, the Royal Wimbledon Golf Club, and a couple of great pubs on the south side. On a nice summers day this place is hard to beat.
