I did a walk from Barnes to Putney one weekend which I really enjoyed. Barnes is certainly a very upmarket area with a village feel. A lot of greenery here and it has a charming little high street with historic characterful buildings. I noticed a lot of flower and fruit shops dotted along the high street. The pretty period cottages would be quite unaffordable to most of us I’d imagine.
