Considered as one of the more affordable areas in Ealing, yet blessed with a diverse high street with access to a variety of international shops. With a newly refurbished train station opened in 2021 with access to the new Crossrail line, it has become one of Ealing's fastest developing areas.

In my opinion, its a town with two sides to it. For a more of a village feel, take a walk down to Northfields High Street where you will find lots of small independent shops, restaurants and cafes that are very popular with young mums during the week or over the weekends. For the cheaper high street & convenience stores, take a walk up to West Ealing Broadway where you will find a Wilko, Lidl and multiple charity shops. The Broadway definitely has a different vibe & feel to it in comparison to the Northfields part of the area. West Ealing also known as Little Persia has a multitude of Persian restaurants where you can enjoy some delicious Koobideh or stop by the Hypermarche to pick up some persian ingrediants & cakes which you can enjoy at home. Its a great area where you get the best of both worlds!

Being born and raised in Ealing Broadway (W5) I had always considered West Ealing to be a little rough around the edges and the not so nice part of Ealing, however it has certainly been growing on me as of late. With the new cross rail station completed last year improving connectivity into Central London, investment in new residential developments and a great choice of highly rated international restaurants on the High Street I would consider moving here to get better value for my money compared to overpriced Ealing Broadway!

West Ealing is really a melting point of people and cultures. A short walk on its high street and you are bound to come across dozens of different languages, dialects and people! West Ealing's rich multiculturalism is personified in its ridiculous choice of amazing restaurants! From Greek to Indian to Persian, it is all there! My favourite is probably the legendary Persian Palace. I would go as far as saying that pound for pound it is the best restaurant in West London. You really get the most buck for your bang! Quality food, big portions, great ambience and good service. Highly recommend. What is your favourite restaurant in West Ealing and any recommendations?
