Area of zone 1 London situated on the south side of the River Thames opposite Embankment. Waterloo is a busy transport hub, with Waterloo and Waterloo East stations and a very touristy area with attractions such as Royal Festival Hall, National Theatre, the South Bank Centre and the London Eye.

Mainly centered around the busy train station and most people head straight to the Southbank for bars and (chain) restaurants. The National Theatre, Imax and Old Vic are nearby. The Cut and Lower Marsh have great independent shops, cafes and pubs and Roupell Street is often used as a film set!
