An attractive Victorian neighbourhood situated to the west of Finsbury Park. With good transport options, pleasant streets, access to Finsbury Park and accommodation that's relatively affordable when compared to some of its better known neighbours, Stroud Green appeals to families aiming to stay in North London.

Stroud Green probably isn't well known, maybe as it doesn't have a station in it's own name. But transport connections are very good - at one end of the Stroud Green Road you have Finsbury park station, which is on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines and also Thameslink trains - and at the other end there's Crouch Hill which is on the London Overground. It's also a pretty attractive place, with streets of lovely looking period houses. Admittedly the high street is a bit mixed with some ugly bits like the big tesco but hey at least that's convenient. Morleys and betting shops opposite council flats also puts a bit of a downer on things. Some good pubs though including the World's End and the faltering fullback along with easy access to Finsbury Park.
