One of the more affordable residential suburbs in Ealing, West London. With a diverse community its small yet busy town centre has a good choice of international food markets, shops and supermarkets. Good links to the A40 with easy access to Central London but lacking in public transport options.

Greenford is a fairly pleasant residential zone 3 suburb with a busy high street offering a good choice of international food shops. There are also numerous schools in the area which I have heard are improving in their OFSTED scores. It’s also a very green area with lots of parks and green spaces. It’s lacking in its nightlife options and there isn’t much else to do. This makes it a good location for families looking for more affordable housing in the West London area but perhaps not the best for young professionals.

Growing up as a kid around the area 20 years ago I remember Greenfords schools having “bad reputations” ..I.e. cardinal wiseman.. does anyone know if this is still the case? I had heard there’s been a lot of investment in the area and in the schools in particular so it would be good to hear peoples views on it? Thanks
