Nice away from the tube
26/05/2022Great transport links. Area around the tube a bit scruffy but if you walk a bit further there are streets of beautiful houses. Not much in the centre other than the (terrible) Swan pub

This is all very true! Step out of the tube and you think wow, what a hole. But some of the back streets and squares are really nice. Stockwell still seems to struggle to generate a nice vibe though. You’d think by now it might have followed brixton with a few cool bars, restaurants, cafes, etc. but I don’t think so
