One of London's great outdoor spaces

13/07/2022

I love Regent's Park! It's such a lovely green spot to enjoy when just north of central London. It's a big park with a lot of variety within it. There are large open spaces to enjoy and you'll often see people exercising, including team sports such as football or runners hurtling around the Regent's Park running track found right up the top of the park. There are also more tranquil aspects to enjoy, such as the boating lake, where there is amazing bird life to be seen! I also love wandering around the inner circle and Queen Mary's Rose Gardens. Within the inner circle there is the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. Coming here to see a show on a warm summer's evening is a real treat. At the top end of the park you'll also find London Zoo! If you want to sneak a peek at a few animal enclosures without actually entering the zoo then try walking along Regent's Canal, just before the canal leaves the park and heads on towards Camden Town, from where the park is easily accessible. You can also tube to Baker Street or the Regent's Park stop itself.
