Acton is a large area in the London Borough of Ealing and known to be one of the more affordable ones. It’s not the prettiest area and I wouldn’t particularly feel safe walking down the high street at night. Having said that there is a lot of investment in residential development taking places with lots of new modern spacious flats giving plenty of value for money options for first time buyers and young professionals. It has fantastic transport links both in terms of public transport, with the recent opening of the Elizabeth Line in Acton Main Line station, and driver access with the A40 providing quick and easy access into Central London.
