I would say there are pro's and con's with Acton although it is on an upward trajectory. Pro's: Relatively close to Central London with very good transportation links More affordable housing Tons of green space like Gunnersbury Park and Ealing Common on the doorstep Some great pubs (E.G. Aeronauht) with great atmosphere and live music Some of the best schools are located in Acton (e.g. Twyford High School) Con's: Crime Unsociable behavior Restaurants can be hit and miss

Interesting from Gladiator. Property prices here seem relatively reasonable for west London. Good to know the area has some other pluses

I’m personally not the biggest fan of Acton but it’s an affordable West London borough with great transport links into central London and lots of recent residential development making it attractive for first time buyers and investors. However not sure I’d raise my children there..
