Flight noise pollution a problem in Richmond? Discussions Home

Hi everyone, do any locals have any thoughts on the above? I've read this is one of the major drawbacks of living in Richmond and that it can be quite bad in parts. I have always imagined my dream house being in Richmond but not sure it's worth the money if it really is as bad as they say it is. Of course the estate agents tell you it's not that bad but it would be good to hear from locals... Thanks

Seems as though it'll only get worse with the Heathrow expansion plans. In any case, however, I imagine you'd get used to it?

Thanks for your responses. I’m not sure I would get used to it as I’ve been living next to a busy road the last 6 years and I’m still not used to the traffic noise! haha… in any case I’m not sure this dream will materialise for a few more years due to the rising living costs so I’ll revisit in a few years!
